Finest Ego Faces Vol. 3 is the forthcoming release on project Mooncircle, a label which dabbles in a range of electronic genre’s and always has gem’s to offer.
Coming soon (27th of July), this is the third in a series of limited vinyl LP’s filled to the brim with luscious weird tunes. Though it will also get a standard digital release with one of the songs being released for free prior to release.
Rain Dog – ‘Think Of You’
Filled with soul, emotion and high production quality this song pretty much sum’s up the entire release.
What caught me first about this was the old 50’s style vocal sample, I’m not sure whether it’s from a movie or song, but it defiantly hooks. This leads to the drop of the strong warm bassline, which sits under a growing horn melody and delaying drums. Subtly moved a long by pitched piano keys, which give a great flow and make this a wonderful track to listen to in all conditions.
