Today HAIM released a fairly spectacularly ‘I am Woman’ video for ‘The Wire’. Not only is the song great, the video (which stars Jorma Taccone of Girls fame) is gold. The sisters each break up with their respective fellas, somewhat harshly, truth be told. No one wants to be broken up with when they’re about to propose, via a text when their working, or by bumping into ‘their’ girlfriend with their new chap in the park. Nightmare. There is many a masculine feeling shed and much girl power and centre partings exerted.
‘The Wire’ features on debut album Days Are Gone, due to be released September 30th via Universal Music on many a platform (iTunes, vinyl, CD and deluxe CD).
