Two-Door-Cinema-Club-Sleep-Alone

Two Door Cinema Club have been keeping their fans on edge for the past few months by unveiling the latest developments towards their forthcoming album Beacon. Their newest and most exciting announcement is the revealing of their new single ‘Sleep Alone’.

Since the huge success of their first album Tourist History, the band has escaped their youthful naivety and has relished in three intensive years of travelling the world. There’s no wonder that these hints of Beacon show the band have matured; being comfortable in their position as a cherished and exciting young band shows in this new track. Two Door’s delightful frontman Alex Trimble has shared that its influence came from their move to Glasgow, and with his swooping, trademark vocals, the song echoes the experience of a strange dream. That said, it’s a recognisably Two Door track; the bass is played on a synthesiser and the energy is just as infectious as anything we’ve heard from the band before.

‘Sleep Alone’ and Beacon will be released on September 3rd on Kitsuné, you can pre-order the album here. Two Door Cinema Club will also playing shows in the UK and Ireland in September to celebrate the launch of Beacon, all the details can be found here;
