The world moves too fast nowadays. The wisest Beatle realised that years ago with his lament to laziness ‘I’m Only Sleeping’, lambasting those loonies who never just sit back and chill the hell out. This is the very reason the 21st century needs artists like Comodo.

Returning after a fairly lengthy absence with new tracks ‘Havana’ and ‘Float’, the talented producer once again displays an almost unrivalled knack for creating spaced-out, lo-fi electronic gems, drifting in and our of your consciousness with superbly tempered precision. There’s a resemblance to the sort of vibes recently featured artist Carnivals is producing too, and there just might be something in that… Riddles aside, Comodo‘s latest output is at times so laid back it’s in danger of keeling over, but trust us when we say it’s the perfect antidote to today’s manic society. Give the tracks a listen below, and don’t forget to download.
