Usually when it comes to a split release, the bands in question are generally of a similar ilk. This however, could not be further from the truth with these two bands. Best Friends offer fuzzy, nostalgia tinted surfer rock, whilst Grazes bring their own style of fast, melancholic punk rock to the table. Best Friends need no introduction, after the success of their now sold out EP Throwing Up, and sharing bills with the likes of Django Django, Cults, Weird Dreams and Summer Camp. Grazes have, in the last few months shared a stage with Trash Talk, Cerebral Ballzy and Ceremony.

In some strange way though, they seem to work together, perhaps due to the close relationship between the two Sheffield bands, who share everything from milk to gear in the basement they both rehearse in.

One track from this split cassette, ‘Mankind’ by Best Friends is available as a free download from the Art is Hard soundcloud page.

The split release on blue cassette encased in a fold out Mick Foley-emblazed card sleeve is limited to 100 copies, and if the past record of these bands is anything to go by, they will not be available for long.

This split is released  through Art is Hard Records and Enjoyment Records, and you can order yours here or through Enjoyment Records here.
