North London’s Pawws – the alias of singer-songwriter Lucy Taylor – will release her debut single ‘Time To Say Goodbye / Slow Love’ on 15th July through ASL Records.
With her keen ear for melody twinned with a classically trained musical background, Taylor’s talents have already seen her working with the likes of Bloc Party’s Kele Okereke and MGMT. With her own productions appearing on Soundcloud late last year, her name has already been touted by the likes of NME Radar and DIY Magazine as one of the hottest pop properties around today.
‘Time To Say Goodbye’ and ‘Slow Love’ provide a perfect display of Pawws insatiable melodic craft. Taylor’s heartfelt vocal soars over the kaleidoscopic mix, flipping effortlessly between driving balladry and dancefloor energy.
